Entry requirements

Academic
2:2 honours degree in a relevant subject such as computer science, or international equivalent, with evidence of modules in programming, algorithms and data structures, mathematics and a relevant project.
English language
IELTS 6.5 overall with 6.0 in every subskill, or an accepted equivalent.
Experience or portfolio
Relevant professional experience with a signed, dated employer reference may be accepted in place of the subject module evidence.

Cardiff's Pakistan page considers a four-year bachelor's (honours) degree, a two-year master's following a two, three or four-year bachelor's, or a one-year master's following a three or four-year bachelor's. For programmes requiring a 2:2 comparable degree it states a CGPA 'in the region of 2.5 or above', decided by the admissions tutor. Source
