- 2:2 honours degree in a relevant subject such as engineering, mathematics or science, or international equivalent.

- IELTS 6.5 overall with 5.5 in each sub-skill, or an accepted equivalent.

- Cardiff's Pakistan page considers a four-year bachelor's (honours) degree, a two-year master's following a two, three or four-year bachelor's, or a one-year master's following a three or four-year bachelor's.
