Entry requirements

- 2:2 honours degree in any subject, or international equivalent.
- English language
- IELTS 6.5 overall with 6.0 in all subskills, or an accepted equivalent.
- Experience or portfolio
- Applicants without a degree may be considered on professional experience supported by signed, dated employer references.
- Applicants from Pakistan
- Cardiff's Pakistan page considers a four-year bachelor's (honours) degree, a two-year master's following a two, three or four-year bachelor's, or a one-year master's following a three or four-year bachelor's. For programmes requiring a 2:2 comparable degree it states a CGPA 'in the region of 2.5 or above', decided by the admissions tutor. Source

Working after you graduate
Bachelor's and master's graduates on a Student visa may apply in the UK for the Graduate visa: two years if applying by 31 December 2026, or 18 months if applying on or after 1 January 2027.
