Overview
Taught Master's for mechanical engineering graduates combining core and optional engineering modules with an individual project. A version with a 9 to 11 month industry placement is available, and there are January and September starts.

Entry requirements
- Academic
- Good second class honours degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject such as Mechanical Engineering.
- English language
- IELTS 6.0 or equivalent (Leicester equivalency table: minimum 5.5 in each IELTS component; PTE 59; TOEFL iBT 80; Duolingo 105)
- Applicants from Pakistan
- Pakistan page: honours BSc or BEng with a minimum GPA of 2.7/4.0 for Computing or Engineering Master's. A four-year bachelor's with a Medium of Instruction letter from listed Pakistani universities may be considered for English, case by case. Source

Working after you graduate
Bachelor's and master's graduates on a Student visa may apply in the UK for the Graduate visa: two years if applying by 31 December 2026, or 18 months if applying on or after 1 January 2027.
