Overview

Full-time doctoral research degree in Economics at the Nottingham UK campus, with training in advanced micro, macro and econometrics expected on entry.

Entry requirements

Academic: A good grade at merit or distinction level in a master's degree (or international equivalent) in economics (including training in advanced micro, macro and econometrics).
English language: IELTS 6.5 (no less than 6.0 in any element)

Working after you graduate

Bachelor's and master's graduates on a Student visa may apply in the UK for the Graduate visa: two years if applying by 31 December 2026, or 18 months if applying on or after 1 January 2027.
